Cait’s Review:
Ok, I’ll give it this. Airheads was funnier than I remembered. It’s been easily 10 years since I watched it. It’s stupid funny without crossing the line into just stupid. Brendan Fraser… I just love him. He is fantastic in this roll. Whoever plays his girlfriend is far less impressive, but Brendan is perfect! Honestly, it’s a really well acted movie all around. Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi and Adam Sandler are all just hilarious.
It’s not one I want to watch all the time, but it’s definitely worth a watch! It’s good, mindless entertainment.

Cait’s gives it: B-

Joe’s Synopsis:
“California losers continue to lose.”

Joe’s Review:
I’ll go ahead and say that I’m biased; the more I hear about them, the more I love Brendan Fraser (he seems like such a down-to-Earth guy) and Steve Buscemi volunteered as a firefighter on 9/11. And Adam Sandler has done a lot of movies. This is your basic Gen-X “hate the establishment” movie, which I think they really nailed — the establishment does really suck. I have loved this movie since I first saw it, because I felt a relation to the relationship-less, jobless, insecure guitarist that Fraser plays. Also, the movie is funny as hell. Aside from my bias for the actors — like Ernie Hudson, Chris Farley (not his cousin, the CEO of Ford, Jim Farley), Michael McKean, Kramer, Reg E. Cathey, David Arquette, Judd Nelson, Joe Mantegna, and Harold friggin’ Ramis — the movie has a general feeling that the above actors had fun while filming it, and it’s consistently funny. Enough jpm to watch as it is, would also be good as a background movie because the jokes aren’t entirely dependent on the previous actions. Not okay for kids.

Joe Gives it: 4/5 (B-) (rev: legit review)
